Terra Lodge

Breakfast is available on demand the day before, it consists on Costa Rican coffee, fruit juice, bowl of assorted fresh fruits, avocado salad, toasts and eggs (your style), and the cost is $15 per person.

Every suite has a private terrace with chairs, a coffee table and an umbrella shade. The “rancho”(the kitchen/living area) has a sofa, armchairs, and an amazing view of the pool, the sunsets, and the ocean.
The pool has hammocks to sunbathe or to enjoy a quite “siesta”.

We are originally from Barcelona (Catalunya), we love to cook, and we offer Mediterranean style dinners, available on demand. Our dishes include seafood paella, black rice, gazpacho, Spanish tortilla, hummus among others, and have been highly rated by our guests (see reviews at Airbnb). The dishes price range are between $10 and $25.

Our location is a perfect enclave from where you can plan different activities in the area: visiting Parque Nacional Corcovado and Parque Marino Ballena, whale watching, mangrove kayaking, surfing, snorkeling and scuba diving at Isla del Caño (visible from the suites at Terra Lodge), quad tours, fishing tours, visiting waterfalls (all sizes!), bird watching, or just walking and relaxing at the beach!

The combination of clouds and sun rays creates unique sunsets every day, so get your camera ready and get ready to pamper your sight. 

The Lodge is surrounded by nature and several tall trees that attract all kinds of birds: toucans, hummingbirds, macaws, quails, eagles, woodpeckers, parrots… and animals such as slots, ant eaters, howling monkeys, iguanas, squirrels (they drill perfect holes in our coconuts to drink its water) and lizards, among others.

The town of Ojochal is a very safe place. The suits at Terra Lodge use key locks to secure our guests belongings and for your privacy each suite has a private wooden deck terrace.

We love trees, they are beautiful, the hold the soil in place, and they are the best attraction for birds. In our garden you’ll find banana, mango, lemon, lime, orange, coconut, star fruit, litchi, guanábana, and avocado trees. 

The “rancho” is equipped with a kitchen, a full size refrigerator, and all the kitchenware needed to cook.
