Terra Foc & Terra Aire

The rooms have a main “queen” bed and an additional double “trundle” bed, which is hidden under the “queen”. We allow up to three adults in each room, but note the room gets tight while the trundle is pulled out. We do not admit children under 12 years old.

Terra Lodge was built taking into consideration the permanent breeze that caresses our property, a breeze that helps repelling mosquitoes, and regulates humidity.

Our views are incredible: jungle, forest, ocean, and the island of El Caño. The combination of clouds and sun rays creates a unique sunset every day

How do I get to Terra Lodge?
From the main road: enter Ojochal from the main entrance, drive on the main street (Avenida Principal), for 2 km until you get to the school, once there, take the street to the left, over a bridge. You are now on calle del Bosque, drive up 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with calle de la Cascada (in front of Iglesia Pentecostal, a church). Make a right in calle de la Cascada and drive 1.4 km, until a fork take the left road (if you crossed a bridge you took the wrong way). Look for round rusted iron signs with a cutout “T”. Follow the signs.
Are there other dinning options in the area?

There are plenty options to choose from in Ojochal, considered the gastronomic pearl of the south: Potz, Citrus, Heliconia, Exotica, Mosaic… and there are more options in the town of Uvita, 15 minutes away from us.

What time is check in / check out?
Check in is at 3pm, check out is at 11am.
Can I smoke?

Smoking is allowed in the green areas, and in the parking lot of the Lodge. Please ask for, and use an ashtray when you smoke.

Why Ojochal?

The town of Ojochal is strategically located to explore the sightseeings and activities in the area: whale watching, jungle trails, bicycle trails, scuba diving, snorkeling, surf, beach kayak, waterfalls, mangrove kayak tours, bird watching, the Corcovado National Park tours, the Marino Ballena Park “Whale Tale”, the surf town of Dominical, the Boruca’s town and museum, the pre-Columbian archeological museum of Finca 6, and the rivers and wonderful beaches. Ojochal is a quiet and very safe town, and the locals are friendly and welcoming. Ojochal is also considered the gastronomical pearl of the south, because of the quality and variety of its restaurants.
